Hannon House is in close proximity to other outdoor recreation and sport, including skiing and hunting. Off-season reservations (December 1 to March 31) may be made by appointment.
Skiing: Located just 27 miles north of Lost Trails Powder Mountain Ski Resort. One of Montana’s hidden treasures. An alpine ski wonderland with spectacular powder from December through April. The Chief Joseph Pass cross-country ski trails are located one half mile east of Lost Trails Powder Mountain. Groomed and maintained by the Bitterroot Cross-Country Ski Club over 32 miles of classic and skate tracks are available for public use.
Hunting: Montana state license required. Hunting is restricted to specified districts. The Property lies between hunting districts 250 and 270. Hunting is not allowed on the property but access to public forest lands is easily available. Hunting season begins in September and concludes in November subject to state regulation.
